Effective January 15, 2022, Holyoke Pediatric Associates is accepting only newborns to our practice, as well as siblings of our current patients. We expect that this will be a temporary change and we anticipate that we will be able to accept new patients soon. This decision was made to allow for the best possible care to our current patients and their families. If you would like to have us reach out to you when we begin accepting new patients again, please contact the office. We can take your child(ren) and family’s information, so we will be able to assist with the transfer process when we resume taking new patients again. Thank you for your understanding during this temporary change.

Our pediatricians are on staff at Baystate Medical Center and we take care of our newborn patients there every morning. If you deliver at Baystate Medical Center, please be sure to notify the hospital staff that you have chosen Holyoke Pediatrics as your baby's pediatrician. If you deliver at a hospital other than Baystate Medical Center, your newborn will be taken care of by that hospital's staff pediatrician, but be sure to tell them you are selecting Holyoke Pediatrics as your child's pediatrician office. On the day of your baby’s discharge from the hospital, please call our office to register your baby and schedule a Newborn Visit. Usually this appointment is booked within 1-2 days of discharge. The pediatrician discharging your baby will tell you when your newborn should be seen for this first appointment. Be sure to also contact your employer and/or your insurance company to have your new baby added onto your policy.
