Dafnah joined HPA over the summer of 2024 to help implement and run the HealthySteps Program at HPA. She has a B.S. from the University of Delaware and received her MSW at the University of Michigan. As HealthySteps Specialist Dafnah meets with parents and caregivers of 0-3 year olds to provide support with all the non-medical challenges that come up in parenting a young child. Often times Dafnah joins med providers during well visits to meet families and offer support at that time, and can also schedule separate meetings with parents to make space to talk about difficulties with things like, eating, sleeping, behaviors, development, sibling dynamics, transitions and the rollercoaster of emotions that come up as a parent!

Dafnah has years of experience working with infants, children, parents and families.  She has provided therapeutic services to diverse populations including individuals, families and groups who have experienced trauma in their lives and has a warm, nonjudgemental approach.  Dafnah is passionate about supporting those struggling at any point in their perinatal journey (trying to conceive, pregnancy, birth, postpartum and ongoing parenting), and always tries to create space for people to feel safe opening up, in hopes of feeling less alone in the challenges that so many of us face.

In her free time, Dafnah loves being in nature (especially in the sun!), spending time with close friends and family, eating lots of olives and cheese and going to as many coffee shops as possible!
