Dr. Pleet grew up in New York City on the upper west side of Manhattan. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Tufts University. She also completed a year of postgraduate study in Biology at Columbia University. She received her medical degree from Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York where she was awarded the Lester R. Tuchman Award for Clinical Excellence. She did her internship and residency in Pediatrics at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Her husband’s work brought her to Western Mass in 1985 and she has worked at Holyoke Pediatrics ever since. She has come to love Western Massachusetts and she and her husband have raised their children in Springfield.

Dr. Pleet loves children and feels it is a great privilege to be a pediatrician. Working with parents to nurture future generations is important and very rewarding work. She is committed to quality pediatric care to promote the health and well being of all children. Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Pleet is credentialed at Baystate Children’s Hospital and is an adjunct staff member at Boston Children’s Hospital. She is a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society, and a member and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Tufts University Medical School.

Dr. Pleet is married with three grown children and enjoys tennis, reading, needle work, and traveling with her family to places where she can learn about different cultures. Her special interests include working with inner city schools to improve the educational opportunities of our youth. She is on the Board of Springfield School Volunteers and the Forest Park Civic Association.

Dr. Pleet currently serves as medical director for the practice. She sees patients in the Holyoke office 3 days per week.
