Leslie E. Johnson, RN, BSN, MSN, CFNP (primary location: Holyoke office)

Ms. Johnson received her BS in Nursing from Columbia University of Nursing, and her Nurse Practitioner training and MS in Nursing from the Primary Care-Family Nurse Practitioner program at the School of Nursing at the University of Massachusetts. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center).

Prior to joining Holyoke Pediatric Associates, Ms. Johnson was a Family Nurse Practitioner at the School Based Health Center at Commerce High School in Springfield, MA, at Kaiser Permanente in Northampton, MA, and at the University Health Services at the University of Massachusetts. At the University Health Services, she also worked as an HIV Counselor and Triage Nurse in Urgent Care. Prior to becoming an FNP, Ms. Johnson worked as an RN in the Neonatal Intensive Care Units at Johns Hopkins Hospital, North Carolina Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill, and Maine Medical Center in Portland. She also worked as an RN at the Baltimore Birth Center, Portsmouth Community Health Services in New Hampshire, in a Nurse Midwifery Practice in New Hampshire, and at the Strafford County Prenatal and Family Planning Clinic in Rochester, New Hampshire. She also has extensive camp nursing experience at the Chewonki Foundation in Maine and Camp Calumet in New Hampshire.

Her special interests include adolescent gynecology and breastfeeding.
