Lucy Garbus, RN, CPNP (primary location: Holyoke office)
Lucy received her BS in Child Development from Cornell University, her Bachelor's of Nursing from Columbia University and her Master's degree in Nursing and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner training from Yale University School of Nursing in 1988. Ms. Garbus is certified by the National Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
Lucy's first job as a nurse practitioner was at Tumutumu Hospital in Kenya, East Africa. She worked at Baystate Pediatric Clinic before joining Holyoke Pediatrics in 1990. She is passionate about helping women breastfeed their babies and she became certified as a Lactation Consultant in 2000.
When she is not working at HPA, Lucy is at home with her husband David and their three children. She loves to make quilts, write, read, take care of her garden, bake cookies and run with Dr. Condon and Dr. Nugent. |
