Scott M. Cochrane, MD (primary location: Holyoke office)
Dr. Cochrane received his undergraduate degree in Child Development with high honors from the University of California at Davis. He also holds a Master of Arts in Physical Therapy from Stanford University. He received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed his Internship and Residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. Dr. Cochrane is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Member and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is also an Assistant Professor at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He is fluent in French.
Dr. Cochrane began his career in health care as a Registered Physical Therapist and practiced at North Carolina Memorial Hospital, Chapel Hill, NC, Lenox Baker Children's Hospital, Durham, NC, the Early Intervention Program, New Bedford, MA, Children's Hospital Medical Center, Oakland, CA and the Cantonal Hospital, Fribourg, Switzerland.
Dr. Cochrane lives in Amherst with his wife and two teenaged children. He enjoys skiing in the winter, swimming at the Holyoke YMCA and going on Boy Scout outings with his son. |
