Peggy Chien, DO (primary location: Holyoke office)

Dr. Chien earned her undergraduate degree in Biology at Georgetown University. She then spent three years at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia conducting genetic research. She received her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her pediatric residency training at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. She is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. 
 
Prior to joining Holyoke Pediatric Associates, Dr. Chien practiced pediatrics in the Philadelphia, PA area. She also has experience working as a neonatal intensive care hospitalist at Geisinger Medical Center. She has special interests in the care of premature infants, asthma and adolescent healthcare. 

Dr. Chien is married and enjoys knitting, cooking and the fine arts.
